AFRICA LIBERATION DAY 2012," AFRICA N THE DIASPORA'

Africa Day is the annual commemoration on May 25 of the 1963 founding of the  Organization of African Union (O.A.U). On this day, leaders of 30 of the 32 independent African states signed a founding charter in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia.

In 1991, the OAU established the African Economic Community and in 2002 the OAU established its own successor, the African Union. However, the name and date of Africa Day has been retained as a celebration of African unity. 2012's theme of Africa Day is "Africa and the Diaspora."

It should also be noted that Africa Day is observed as a public holiday in only four African countries, that is, Ghana , Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. However, celebrations are held in some African countries, as well as by Africans in the diaspora.

Africa Day celebrates African diversity and success and highlights the cultural and economic potential that exists on the African continent.

Happy Africa Day.

BEGINNING OF A CHAIN OF GREAT EVENTS

It was on the 14th of May 2012 @ around mid day when a group of youths converged (3 males & a female). the location was kampala at on a busy street called Nasser in a building named Conrad plaza. The purpose of the meeting was and is Christ , These dynamic youth had met for a fellowship the first of its kind in this building .

All of them except one are students in the institution known as APTECH computer Education, the fourth person is a technician in the same institute. What happened here was the beginning of a chain of great events that the Lord had in store for the generation and generations to come, its clear beyond doubt that this meeting was carefully orchestrated by the Divine Director (God), because these youth come from different backgrounds but Christ the solid Rock is the Ground upon which they currently stand.

The meeting began by a word of prayer led by one of the vision bearers called Ronnie the purpose here was that God had brought them together to start fellowshiping and spreading His Love in this institution plus keep the light shinning (Christ). thus after much consultation , testimonies and consideration Holy Spirit took over and the vision for these meetings was decided it will be "Keep the Light Shinning(Christ)".

Forward to the current Uwezo wa kipaji is asking you kindly may you please make it your prayer point this week to pray for this move of God that has began at this location of Africa in Uganda, because we are convinced that the lord is doing great wonders so let us combine our faith as recomended by scripture that when 2 or more are together in Faith then the Lord is surely among them.

This is a request that Uwezio wa Kipaji is making to all who like this page and all who are involved be blessed

she moves!

every morning waking up,
catching gossip at its worst,
people fall in silences at her presence,
but she stil saw the fake smiles on their faces,
she walks through them in fear,
cause their aim is to make her heart tear,
though the words are so old,
the poor thing feels so old,
wondering why the world is so cold,
her heart pumping, thinking of  facing them,
so she could end their evil judgements, but hey, they are not worth her statement!
so she smiles sardonically
nodding her head mockingly!
criticizing her dressings through murmurs,
saying poor mama, she once thought she had a daughter just like her mama!

Hate/Love/Darkness/Light.

"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

MATURITY IN MINISTRY 1 Corithians 12

At times GOD  doesn't give us what we need because at times we aren't ready to receive what we think we can handle.  Most Christians don't want to go through the process of maturity. An immature person will always waste what is  released or even not realize the value of what is released to them.

Paul talks to the Christians in Corinth in 1 Corinthians 12 about spiritual gifts. He tells them that spiritual gifts are given by grace. Grace in this case would mean that the spiritual gifts are given to us not because they are supposed to but to serve the people in accordance to his will.
A baby will always be in napkins. The napkin in this case symbolizes the state this baby is in,but when the child grows then its expected of that child to become uncomfortable in the napkins and if they are not then it will signal that something is wrong.

Maturity is what determines the Grace in the spiritual gifts given to us as  followers of Christ. While we mature we also grow in grace for this is the desire of the almighty GOD.
Theres are big difference between are Christian who prays and the Christian who doesn't,theres also are difference between a Christian who reads the word of GOD and the one who doesn't, the difference here would be maturity.

The question we should be asking ourselves is, what are we doing to grow in faith or in the grace given to us by our LORD.
