THE NAMES OF GOD

 Our names are precious to us....they reveal who we are.
They are a personal connection, a unique part of us.
Names in Biblical times were very important,as they revealed a person's character.
As we read through Scripture we can see the importance of names,
therefore, it should be a priority in our lives to learn the Names of God.
God has many Names and each reveals Him in a different way.
God's Names represent His attributes, His nature.
Therefore, it is important that we know God by His many Names.
I hope you are encouraged and uplifted as you read these Names of God.
I would urge you to take time to worship Him daily
by calling upon Him using His various Names...
to do so will be an awesome experience in knowing God.

SOFT SPOT FOR THEM

It is with the kids that i have a soft spot/key is with them the future is on lock/smile of a child brings hope to the flock/no weapon formed against them shall prosper nor block/blessings set for them by Christ their rock/innocence so pure shame on them that provoke/taking whats pure leaving them with shock/pain n the tears memory filled with smoke/tears of a child reflects shame n mock/children are a blessing,joy to us all/fruit of the womb,the mother feels the joy/connection between the two,love beyond walls/

IT'S A PROCESS THAT LEADS TO PROGRESS

The other day had a conversation with some friends of mine and what im about to share is my take on an issue that was not only talked about but an issue we/i as Christian battle with. The topic is about prosperity/prospering and what came out was the question why do the unbelievers/non believers seem to be prospering despite them not living a Godly life. Everything seems to be working for them while the Christians on the other hand seem to be struggling.

This is not to say that christians are a poor lot but the main observation was that for the christians it seems that life is on a slow motion. They have to really wait or even seem to be in lack. For the non believers on the other hand they seem to have it all, infact it seems that life is easy on the other side.

Well, being human it might seem to be true but as Christians this is not the case. For the christian it is through faith that we get to see what GOD does in our lives. As much as we are christians (spiritually connected to GOD0 we are also are human beings, we have needs.

Psalms 37:34- Wait for the LORD and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it. The bible tells us not to be impatient. We have to learn on how to wait upon the lord. One thing that the devil throws at us is how slow life seems to be on ourside, how its not worrking out, how long it has taken.

In most cases its easy to forget what the lord has done in our lives and get distracted by that which we dont have. The process of waiting is what the mind fears to go through. Process signifies growth/ being formed.

How to we celebrate victory if we havent experienced some struggle of some sort, challenges bring one thing to us and that is it shapes us /forms us to what we are to become.

If we seek the lord more then our shortcomings become invisible. Invisible because GOD becomes our focus while our challenges fade out. Now, stop looking at what others have achieved and comparing that with your situation.

God's time is the best,he knows what suits you for he knows the desires of your heart. He brings the right people and things our way so that we may enjoy that which we desire to accomplish.

AFRICA LIBERATION DAY 2012," AFRICA N THE DIASPORA'

Africa Day is the annual commemoration on May 25 of the 1963 founding of the  Organization of African Union (O.A.U). On this day, leaders of 30 of the 32 independent African states signed a founding charter in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia.



In 1991, the OAU established the African Economic Community and in 2002 the OAU established its own successor, the African Union. However, the name and date of Africa Day has been retained as a celebration of African unity. 2012's theme of Africa Day is "Africa and the Diaspora."

It should also be noted that Africa Day is observed as a public holiday in only four African countries, that is, Ghana , Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. However, celebrations are held in some African countries, as well as by Africans in the diaspora.

Africa Day celebrates African diversity and success and highlights the cultural and economic potential that exists on the African continent.

BEGINNING OF A CHAIN OF GREAT EVENTS

It was on the 14th of May 2012 @ around mid day when a group of youths converged (3 males & a female). the location was kampala at on a busy street called Nasser in a building named Conrad plaza. The purpose of the meeting was and is Christ , These dynamic youth had met for a fellowship the first of its kind in this building .

 

All of them except one are students in the institution known as APTECH computer Education, the fourth person is a technician in the same institute.What happened here was the beginning of a chain of great events that the Lord had in store for the generation and generations to come, its clear beyond doubt that this meeting was carefully orchestrated by the Divine Director (God), because these youth come from different backgrounds but Christ the solid Rock is the Ground upon which they currently stand. 

 

The meeting began by a word of prayer led by one of the vision bearers called Ronnie the purpose here was that God had brought them together to start fellowshiping and spreading His Love in this institution plus keep the light shinning (Christ). thus after much consultation , testimonies and consideration Holy Spirit took over and the vision for these meetings was decided it will be "Keep the Light Shinning(Christ)".
 

Forward to the current Uwezo wa kipaji is asking you kindly may you please make it your prayer point this week to pray for this move of God that has began at this location of Africa in Uganda,because we are convinced that the lord is doing great wonders so let us combine our faith as recomended by scripture that when 2 or more are together in Faith then the Lord is surely among them.
