Dario Gambarin uses an unusual medium for his art -- a field in Castagnaro, Italy. His latest work is a 328-foot portrait of Pope Francis, created in six hours with a tractor.

"Love Liberates," was inspired after the pope's announcement that he would lead an international, interfaith, day of fasting and prayer for peace in Syria on September 7

Gambarin says he "uses his plough as a painter would a brush," according to The Telegraph. He doesn't measure the field before beginning, but uses his instinctive sense of proportion to use the field as his canvas.

  

Gambarin relies on his innate sense of proportion and his tractor driving capabilities to create his field art.   The image can only really be appreciated when flying above it.

CHARITY CONCERT IN SUPPORT OF JOSHUA NGOMBO

The # PowerConcert is a charity concert in support of Master Joshua Ngombo,a 10 year old boy battling cancer of the liver currently undergoing treatment in Bangalore India.

10% of all proceeds will go to the KNH children's cancer ward. The concert is held courtesy of Zidi the Band, Adawnage, Bethuel & Highest Praise, Mtawalis Band, Number 8, Carlisto, TWA and many others.

GOSPEL KARAOKE NIGHT

#GospelKaraokeNight will be going down this Saturday 7th Sept at Petma Restaurant, opposite KFC, Kimathi Street from 7 pm. 

There will be DJ mixes from DJ Sadic and DJ Touch, hype sessions from MC Kelly and the PHD Dancers and lots of giveaways courtesy of Safaricom.
